Onion

Onion is the pungent bulb of the onion plant and can be cooked and eaten in a variety of dishes. Between the colors of yellow, white and purple, the purple keep the longest in the fridge. I am picking the bulbs fresh and not drying the skins out first, so please keep them refrigerated compared to the traditional storage in a cupboard. Typically used fresh in small amounts or cooked.


Onions are associated with potential anticancer, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, cardiovascular, and antioxidant effects.
