Pellitory is a weed commonly found in shady areas during the winter season here in Florida. The texture is a bit like velvet, however, the taste is almost identical to cucumbers! Typically used fresh.
Pellitory is associted with potential antibacterial and antifungal effects.
Known to be a possible allergen, so take care with consuming if you are known to have allergic reactions to different foods.
